Statewide Community Integration and Preservation Program (SCIPP)
In New Jersey, DDHA contracts with the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities to provide services to individuals with mental health and behavioral concerns, and those who are dually diagnosed through an integrated approach. SCIPP program staff are able to coordinate services across various service providers. The program addresses the unique challenges of individuals who may be at risk of losing their homes in the community. In short, the program helps individuals and their families avoid institutionalization, mental health hospital admissions, or other long-term care placements. Services can only be provided following a referral from the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities. Please contact your DDD Case Manager or DDD Support Coordinator to request a referral. Once approved, SCIPP services are coordinated by Mark Rufino who can be reached at (973) 338-4200.
